VXDIAG VCX SE or Openport for Benz SAMF 204 Coding

Here comes the review of VXDIAG VCX SE DoIP device for Mercedes.

“My Openport 2.0 served me faithfully for two years and never let me down. She still works great.
There is only one but, and this but is called SAMF204. The fact is that when flashing, updating any block, the encodings of this very SAMF fly off!
Of course I have a backup, but fixing so many encodings in Vediamo is just a pain and takes a lot of time. I would like to connect using DTS Monaco, where it takes almost a second to restore encodings. But unfortunately, Vediamo only works in smr-d files with Openport, and I didn’t find such a file for samf204 (maybe I didn’t search well, if anyone has it, throw it).

That’s it because of this block, I decided to buy myself a VXDIAG VCX SE. Took it tonight, reinstalled the whole system (switching from XPT to XDOS), installed Xentry 06.2022, DTS Monaco 8.16, Vediamo 5.01.01 and WIS 07.2021 Standalone.

It’s almost 3:00 am, I’m updating Add-ons, while the update is in progress, I decided to share my joy.

Update:

Installed and running
Xentry OpenShell 06.2022.
DTS Monaco 8.16, work with both smr-d and cbf files.
Vediamo 4.02.02 in J2534 mode, cbf only.“
