VXDIAG VCX SE and Mongoose JLR which is a better interface to use?
User experience:
SDD – plenty of sources available – either for self installation (dvd) or preinstalled – i would advise to buy already preinstalled, coming on hdd/ssd only (cheaper option if you have spare laptop) or whole laptop (dearer of course) as it will work straight away. you can buy bundle with interface cable or buy them separately.
I would recommend VCX VXDIAG cables and avoid mongoose – there’s plenty of fakes around which can brick your car. Avoid cheap mongoose cables – there are bad copies out there and might cause issues with the car. hence i recommend VCX cable.
so ideally – buy preinstalled bundle with VCX cable.
i got set up with both pathfinder/ sdd installed on notebook with mentioned cable above. Saves a lot of hassle with self install, missing drivers etc. works a treat.
