I recently got a VXDIAG VCX SE for BMW and got luck with the free DoNET license on a Ford Focus 2005. Here is my working experience on setting up DoNET remote diagnosis without Ford license.
First attempt:
Follow the instruction on vxdiag website, but failed to get DoNET remote ID, saying server error
Second attempt:
I was told the network was too bad, so changed to another network and got remote ID ok
simple click OK and copy
Go back to VX Manager, copy and paste full ID here
Click on Connect device. Now my vcx se is connected with DoNET.
I tried with IDS Ford. This patch version supports IDS 121.01.
Yes, it is working. I will test on Focus 05 on car.
Save me a vcx nano for Ford and Ford license.
