VXDIAG Renault Clip “Probe Not Compatible”?

Problem:

I have this error on VXDIAG VCX SE Renault Clip with an old renault car is it normal? saying probe is not compatible with the car.

Solution:

It is normal. VXDIAG and some other J2543 passthru devices are not good on older K-line Renault cars.

VXDIAG supports Renault (CAN BUS models) from year 2005 to current.

If need to diagnose older Kline Renault, get a CAN CLIP interface or universal scanner instead.
