How to Disable Mercedes Lane Keep Assist with DTS Monaco?

As titled, here is the user working experience on how to disable Mercedes Sprinter VS30 Lane Keep Assist with DTS Mocaco engineer software.

Many VS30 owners despise the Lane Keep Assist feature on their new vans. Fortunately it is easy to permanently disable the active breaking feature while leaving the audible warning with DTS Monaco. The following shows the variant coding that needs to be changed.

Use this guide at your own risk.

 

Tools used:

  • Xentry multiplexer VXDIAG VCX SE, Benz VCI DoIP, Actia Ecom etc
  • DTS 9 (need to find keygen to activate software)

 

You will find the Lane Keep Assist variant coding in the MMPC213 module.

Scroll down to LDP coding

Toggle LDP break intervention from enabled to disabled.

Scroll down to Vans coding Write

Under LDP Intervention Mode, toggle from With Break Intervention to Warning Only.

That’s it. Just “Do Coding” and then do a hard reset of the ECU. Done! You now have warning only without break assist.
 under LDP Coding, toggle ALDW Warning Mode from sound warning to vibration motor. This will completely disable Lane Keep Assist. However when you start the van it will display “Active lane keeping assist inoperative” in the center display. You then just acknowledge the warning and your on your way.
